Vertical Flap Discs are kinds of expendable fiber coated with abrasive cloth. The disc is mainly used for grinding and polishing the round and planar surfaces of workpiece while the shapes can not be changed.
The straight vertical flaps design prevents dusts & debris from sticking on the sandpaper, saving the polishing time and saving the cost.
The backings can be fiberglass backings or plastic backing. Vetical Flap Discs with Plastic backing is relatively more popular.
Broad grit range allows rough grinding to fine finishing. There are only flat (T27) type for this Vertical Flap Disc. Flat (T27) is designed to grind edges and flat surfaces with a working angle of 0°to 15°degrees.
